Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jose Correa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dominic Fortune (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jose Correa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dominic Fortune! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Steven Brown and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Correa bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Fortune's head. A telegraphed right hand from Correa misses the target. Fortune follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. Correa takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
A big right from Correa misses. Jab, jab by Fortune - just one landing. Fortune has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Fortune misses with a low kick. Fortune lands with an uppercut that bounces Correa off the cage and back into range. Correa looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Correa fails with a takedown attempt. Correa lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Correa misses with a straight right. Correa misses with an uppercut. Fortune saw that one coming. Fortune is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Fortune's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Correa connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Fortune scrambles back to his feet. Fortune takes a shot right to the bread basket. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Correa jabbing away but nothing is landing. Fortune gets cracked there but stands up to it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Correa punishes Fortune's body with a nice straight punch. Fortune throws out a loose jab but Correa uses good head movement to avoid it. Dominic Fortune is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Fortune walks into a straight right hand from Correa. Correa throws a left and a right that both miss
and Fortune counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Correa missing with a left hand there. Fortune was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Correa tries to clinch but Fortune moves out of range. A lazy body kick from Fortune and Correa counters with a lovely straight right hand! Fortune circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Correa drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Fortune follows Correa to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
