The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weaver throws a body shot but no joy.
A quick step to the side and Brown tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Weaver cracks Brown with a right hand to the side of the head.
Brown displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Weaver throws out the jab.
Brown steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Weaver.
Weaver has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Brown blocks an elbow strike.
Brown blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Weaver blocks a body shot from Brown.
Brown lands a body shot in the clinch.
Weaver lands an elbow that stopped Brown in his tracks for a moment.
Brown gets control of Weaver's arms and successfully pulls guard. Brown will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Brown looking for a guillotine here but Weaver defends easily.
Brown has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Weaver can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Weaver is sitting in close to Brown's body. Brown has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Weaver is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Weaver is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Brown.
