Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Tran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vince Jacinto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vince Jacinto will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Jimmy Tran!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Vince Jacinto!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Chris Edwards and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tran keeps the fight on the outside.

Jacinto shoots in and bounces Tran off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Tran has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Jacinto is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Tran breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Tran fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Tran fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Jacinto throws a counter combo.
Tran keeps the fight on the outside.

Jacinto closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Tran to the mat! Tran manages to get full guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Tran looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Tran knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jacinto on the ground.

Tran has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Jacinto is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Tran.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tran is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Jacinto has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Jacinto tries to advance to mount but Tran denies him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tran can't do much from the bottom here.
Jacinto is looking to take a break and control but Tran is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Jacinto wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Tran, who protects the arm well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Tran wants to control but Jacinto postures up.
Jacinto wants to control but Tran is keeping him busy.
Tran pushes Jacinto away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Jacinto gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Jacinto in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Tran is tapping! That's the end of the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Vince Jacinto!
