The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevens tries to bum rush DeWhitt with a series of wild strikes but DeWhitt uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
DeWhitt looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Stevens shoots in and bounces DeWhitt off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
