Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yukihiro Shimada and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weight scores with the left hand. Richards knows he should have avoided that one.
Richards closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Richards grinds an elbow into Weight's temple.
Richards lands an elbow.
Weight is trying to control Richards's posture but Richards avoids it.
Richards looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Weight gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Weight has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Richards is working away from the top position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Richards winds up and cracks Weight with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Richards is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Weight has managed to free his arm - good work.
Richards scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Weight landing rabbit punches to the side of Richards's head. Not doing much damage but still scoring a few points.
Weight is looking to improve his position.
Richards slips a nice elbow through Weight's hands, connecting with Weight's forehead.

Weight trying to hold on to Richards's head to control him but Richards postures up.

Richards is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Weight is hurt! He's hurt bad - Richards fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Weight from any more punishment! Congratulations to Richards! Great finish!
