Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shark Attack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cormac Gutz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
20 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Shark Attack! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
47 - 26 - 4, fighting out of Montreal, Cormac Gutz! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Gregory Folan and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Attack checks the leg kick nicely there.
Gutz jabs Attack to the body, keeping him at a distance. Attack with a lazy takedown attempt and Attack takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Gutz throws out a leg kick but Attack moves out of range and Gutz only half commits. Gutz delivers a nice body kick. Gutz lands a really nice looking cross but Attack seems unphased.
Attack dives in for a single leg takedown but Gutz sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Gutz is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Attack gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Gutz to score an easy takedown into full guard. Gutz content to stall in guard here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gutz lands a couple of digs. Attack can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Gutz controls the pace. Gutz lands a couple of elbows. Gutz missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Gutz trying to control the position from guard on top but Attack is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gutz postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Gutz working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Attack's head. Gutz has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Gutz won't allow Attack to get back to his feet. Gutz distracts Attack with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Attack is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Attack uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Attack takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A nice inside leg kick there by Gutz. That's going to slow Attack down. Gutz throws a chopping leg kick but Attack manages to avoid taking any serious damage. No luck for Attack with that takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shark Attack. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gutz shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Gutz showed some decent athleticism there. This has been an exciting period of action! Gutz missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gutz sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Attack defending well though. Attack tries to kick Gutz off but Gutz keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Attack trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Gutz not landing any meaningful shots this time. Attack manages to escape and get back to his feet! Attack throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gutz. Gutz looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Attack has one foot on Gutz's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Gutz waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Attack. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Attack to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
Attack is rocked!
It looks like Shark Attack has been cut. Attack is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Gutz is controlling him. Oh Attack is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Attack seems to have got his legs back now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gutz lands a couple of decent looking shots. Gutz throwing strikes from guard but Attack blocks nicely. Gutz stands up over Attack, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Gutz stops Attack from standing up. Gutz postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Gutz with a flurry of punches that miss. Gutz makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Attack utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Attack wants to stand but Gutz is controlling the position. Gutz with a flurry of punches that miss. Gutz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Attack swivels though and keeps the full guard. Gutz prevents Attack from getting back to his feet. Gutz working some strikes from top position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cormac Gutz dominated that round. The cut man is working on Shark Attack's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Gutz misses with a head kick.
Attack tries to clinch up but Gutz circles away and keeps his distance. Gutz lunges at Attack with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Attack's hand. Jab, jab by Gutz - just one landing. Attack with a lazy takedown attempt and Gutz counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Attack has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Cormac Gutz! A relieved looking Cormac Gutz thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
