Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Manny Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chance Spong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chance Spong!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Albert Achterberg and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stone darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Spong moves into the clinch.
Spong is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Stone gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Stone lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Spong taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Spong blocks a body shot from Stone.
Stone is trying to force a seperation but Spong has the dominant position.
Spong misses with a knee strike.
Stone is pressed up against the cage. Spong has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Stone down to the mat. Stone avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Spong takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Stone tries a head kick but it misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stone scores with a leg kick.
Stone pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Stone uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Spong's coach down at Double XX was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Spong's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Spong works the jab nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Stone connects with a looping right hand.
Spong is rocked!
Stone drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Spong right on the button. Spong goes down! Stone follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Stone gets the win via TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Manny Stone!
Our winner, Manny Stone, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
