Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Lotus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Strikes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lotus comes to the cage accompanied by Eye of the tiger. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
33 - 43 - 2, fighting out of London, Tommy Lotus! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
39 - 37 - 2, fighting out of London, Carlos Strikes! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Paul Tew and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lotus dives in for a single leg takedown but Strikes sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Lotus gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Strikes counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Strikes using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Lotus is breathing heavily. Strikes escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Strikes fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lotus, pushing him back against the cage. Lotus takes a knee to the side of the body. Strikes lands a body shot in the clinch.
A right hook to the body lands for Strikes.
The referee calls for Strikes to work.
Strikes scores with a shoulder strike. Lotus tries to break free but Strikes pushes him back against the cage. Strikes displaying some good clinch control by pressing Lotus up against the cage. Lotus is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Strikes breaks from the clinch.
Strikes gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Strikes manages to break the clinch.
Strikes will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Lotus fails with the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tommy Lotus. That's going to take a lot out of him. A combination from Lotus does no damage. Strikes feints the counter takedown. Lotus forces Strikes back against the cage and clinches. Strikes unloads a knee to the mid-section. Lotus is trying to force a seperation but Strikes has the dominant position. Lotus is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Strikes breaks the clinch.
Lotus looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. The fight moves into the clinch position. Strikes breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Strikes lands a big head kick that sends Lotus tumbling to the mat! Strikes takes a step backwards and waves Lotus back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Tommy Lotus has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Strikes rushes Lotus and presses him up against the cage. Strikes breaks from the clinch.
Lotus shoots in for a takedown but Strikes shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Strikes moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Strikes lands a hook that stumbles Lotus back into the cage. Strikes follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Lotus to the canvas! Strikes pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Lotus has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
