The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Marco Blurström and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Provenza throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Provenza jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Provenza fails to land the takedown.
Provenza is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Diaz.
Diaz gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Provenza to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Diaz can't keep his opponent in guard - Provenza advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Diaz looking for submissions off his back.
Diaz definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Provenza lands a nice short elbow.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Provenza is trying for a kimura here. Diaz looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Provenza wins by kimura!

A very excited looking Silvio Provenza rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
Nickthaniel Diaz was interviewed post fight and said 'He fought like a pussy, running from me n shit. WTF???'.
