The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mahtava looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? The Meth Addict is fending him off so far but Mahtava persists. Nope, The Meth Addict circles away and we're back to standing.
The Meth Addict catches Mahtava with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Mahtava walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

It looks like Masi Mahtava has been cut.
Mahtava looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? The Meth Addict is fending him off so far but Mahtava persists. Nope, The Meth Addict circles away and we're back to standing.
The Meth Addict lands a jab to the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The Meth Addict drops his shoulder and cracks Mahtava with a huge uppercut! Mahtava goes down! Can The Meth Addict finish him?

Mahtava is rocked!
Mahtava thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
The Meth Addict trying to control the position from guard on top but Mahtava is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The Meth Addict is looking to stand up but Mahtava won't let him.
The Meth Addict seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Mahtava looking for submissions from the bottom but instead The Meth Addict passes into side control.
The Meth Addict knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mahtava on the ground.
Mahtava is trying to escape the position but The Meth Addict is controlling the position.

Mahtava is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
The Meth Addict wants to stand up but Mahtava is controlling the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mahtava wants to control but The Meth Addict is keeping busy.
Mahtava is staying active underneath The Meth Addict, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Nice straight punches there by The Meth Addict. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of The Meth Addict.
The Meth Addict connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Mahtava tumbling to the canvas! The Meth Addict pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Mahtava was done - good stoppage!
