Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Julle Kuikka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John McErlane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McErlane has chosen Demanufacture by FEAR FACTORY as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Julle Kuikka has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Roosa Järviläinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuikka fails to land the takedown.
McErlane thows a body shot but no joy.
Kuikka shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in McErlane's guard.
McErlane is wriggling around but Kuikka manages to pass to half guard.
Kuikka is tying to control. McErlane wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
McErlane wants to get back to his feet.

Kuikka is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Kuikka stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McErlane swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Kuikka shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Kuikka was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The referee warns McErlane that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
McErlane is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

McErlane throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Kuikka escapes and throws McErlane's legs to the side, diving into side control!
McErlane tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Kuikka wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Kuikka decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Kuikka rushes McErlane and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
McErlane wants to get back to striking at distance but Kuikka won't allow it.
Kuikka goes for a takedown in the clinch but McErlane prevents it.

McErlane tries to throw a body punch but Kuikka avoids it by throwing McErlane back against the cage.
Kuikka is working for takedown but McErlane is calmly controlling the position for now.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Julle Kuikka. That's going to take a lot out of him.
McErlane jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kuikka walks away with a smile on his face. McErlane gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

That was a close second round but I would say that Julle Kuikka will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Kuikka feints and as McErlane raises his hands in defense, Kuikka changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
McErlane is pulling down on Kuikka's head. It's preventing any offense from Kuikka, at least for the moment.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Kuikka's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kuikka, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
