Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Luke Copper!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Atkins and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richardson tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Copper defends well and Richardson ends up having to push Copper into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Copper darts in and clinches Richardson up against the cage.
Richardson misses with a hook from the clinch.
Richardson stalls.

Copper pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Nice sprawl there from Copper as Richardson shoots in.
Copper pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Copper tries a head kick but it misses.
Richardson is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Richardson takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Copper is trying to pull guard but Richardson turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Richardson avoiding damage as Copper throws knees to the body.
Copper is trying to break the clinch but Richardson is controlling him.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Richardson takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

The referee is keeping an eye on Richardson - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Copper wants a takedown but no success here.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Richardson really is a fat lump.
Copper tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Morgan Richardson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Luke Copper.

Richardson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Copper closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Copper manages to pull guard.
Copper utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Richardson avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Richardson wants to stand but Copper has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Richardson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Copper has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Richardson has passed into side control.
You can see the frustration on Copper's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Copper is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Richardson off and has taken his back!

Richardson is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.

Copper is persistently looking for the submission but Richardson is defending it well.

Copper is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Richardson with him. Richardson is trying to defend but Copper has an arm under the chin now! Richardson grimaces and is forced to tap out!
