Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Roy Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marvin Andrews (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nelson comes to the cage accompanied by Don't Mean A Thing. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 19 - 0, fighting out of New York, Roy Nelson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Marvin Andrews! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shirou Masuda and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nelson takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Andrews connects with a nice looking jab.
It looks like Roy Nelson has been cut. Nelson misses with a combination
and Andrews counters with a lovely straight right hand! Nelson lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Nelson misses with a looping left. Nelson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Nelson stuffs the takedown. Andrews swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Nelson lands a nice shot that snaps Andrews's head back.

This has been an exciting period of action! Nelson wants to break the clinch but can't.
Nelson is fighting off a takedown attempt but Andrews is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Nelson to the mat. Nelson regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Andrews prevents Nelson from getting back to his feet. Nelson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Andrews trying to control but Nelson is working from the bottom. Andrews has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Andrews trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Andrews is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Andrews lands a couple of elbows. Nelson manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Nelson connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Andrews momentarily.
Andrews clinches up against the cage. Andrews's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Andrews takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. A big left from Nelson misses. Andrews scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Nelson doesn't seem bothered though. Andrews swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Nelson dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nelson avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Nelson swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Andrews slips a straight right by Nelson.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nelson getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Andrews closes the distance and lands a one-two. Andrews changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nelson tries to avoid it but Andrews manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nelson to the ground. Nelson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Nelson swats away the attempt to clinch by Andrews. Nelson throws a jab when Andrews was well out of range. Andrews moves out of range as Nelson strikes. Nelson throws a series of punches but Andrews moves out of range. Nelson misses with a leg kick and Andrews counters with a one-two to the body. Nelson jabs Andrews right on the nose. Andrews blinks but takes it well. Nelson looks to land a left hand but Andrews moved out of range nicely. Nelson is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Andrews scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Andrews wants to lay and pray for a moment but Nelson keeps working. Nelson is looking for a sweep.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Andrews trying to control the action but Nelson is working from the bottom. Andrews tries for a kimura but Nelson is defending well. An elbow from Andrews crashes against the mat.
Nelson is trying to get back to half guard. Andrews looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. A lull in the action here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Nelson tries to get back to half guard but can't. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Nelson can't do much from the bottom here. Andrews in side control, just content to control the action for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nelson is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Andrews asserts his dominance and retains side control. Andrews is chipping away with strikes.
Nelson throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Marvin Andrews will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Roy Nelson's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Andrews tries for a takedown but Nelson circles away easily and Nelson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Andrews shoots for a takedown but Nelson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Nelson throws a lazy uppercut
and Andrews counters with a right hand to the body. Roy Nelson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nelson connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Andrews is rocked! Andrews get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Andrews stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Nelson runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Roy Nelson! Roy Nelson decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
