PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Donatas Radyys (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Namaka Kaeo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kaeo has chosen Survival by Eminem as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kaeo shoots in and bounces Radyys off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Radyys uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Kaeo fails with a takedown attempt.
Radyys shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kaeo pinned against the cage. Kaeo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kaeo jumps guard but Radyys turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Donatas Radyys has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Namaka Kaeo.
Radyys wants to take the fight to the mat but Kaeo manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Radyys ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Radyys no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Kaeo should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Radyys looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kaeo with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kaeo can do anything to dispel that myth.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Radyys lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
