Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zyd Xyd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamos Ramon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Zyd Xyd!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jamos Ramon!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Santiago Holmes and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xyd throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Ramon's head.
It looks like Jamos Ramon has been cut.
Xyd takes a swing at Ramon's ribcage but misses.
Ramon tries to counter by closing the distance.
Ramon closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Ramon lands in his opponent's guard.
Ramon loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Xyd looking for a sweep. Not yet Xyd, not yet.
Ramon trying to control the position from guard on top but Xyd is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Ramon won't allow Xyd to sweep him here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Xyd is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Ramon not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ramon is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Ramon trying to control but Xyd is working from the bottom.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Ramon misses with a hook.
Xyd with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Ramon misses with a series of wild punches.
The fight stays on the outside here - Ramon looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Zyd Xyd seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ramon fails with the takedown
and Xyd counters with a left to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Xyd throws a head kick that Ramon semi-blocks.
Xyd lands a big uppercut and Ramon crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Ramon looks OK. Xyd waves Ramon back to his feet!
Ramon is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Xyd walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Ramon drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Xyd swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Ramon's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Zyd Xyd!
