Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Elias Al Haddad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henrik Stenson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stenson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Young Jeezy - I'm Here. Henrik Stenson has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 19 - 2, fighting out of New York, Elias Al Haddad! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Henrik Stenson! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - Al Haddad looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Stenson drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Al Haddad defends it well. Al Haddad lands a jab to the nose. Donk. Stenson catches Al Haddad right on the button with a cross. Stenson lands with a thumping leg kick.
A big right from Al Haddad misses. Stenson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Al Haddad moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Stenson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Stenson throws out a leg kick but Al Haddad moves out of range and Stenson only half commits. Al Haddad connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Stenson's hands. Stenson takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Stenson throws a leg kick and Al Haddad counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Al Haddad works the jab nicely. Al Haddad throws a right and a left that both miss. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Al Haddad tries to clinch there but Stenson circles away.
Al Haddad checks a low kick from Stenson. Stenson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Al Haddad cracks Stenson with a good jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stenson throws a low kick, looking for Al Haddad's leg but Al Haddad calmly moves out of range. Stenson takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Al Haddad wants to clinch but Stenson slips to the side and Stenson counters with a nice double leg into side control. Al Haddad won't be happy with that. Al Haddad is trying to improve his position. Stenson scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Al Haddad to see if he's OK. Stenson lands a few punches from side control. Stenson in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Al Haddad tries to buck Stenson off but Stenson is having none of it. Al Haddad is trying to control Stenson's posture but Stenson avoids it. Al Haddad is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Al Haddad tries to improve position but can't. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Al Haddad is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Stenson has just dragged him back down to the mat. Al Haddad is trying to get back to half guard. Al Haddad taking punishment in the form of punches.
Stenson fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Stenson trying to control the position but Al Haddad is working away. Al Haddad tries to improve position but can't. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Al Haddad gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Stenson is trying for a kimura here. Al Haddad looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Stenson wins by kimura!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Henrik Stenson! An out of breath Henrik Stenson thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
