Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nuke Laloosh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tyson James has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Nuke Laloosh's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nuke Laloosh!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Tyson James!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Patrick Alders and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laloosh looks to land a combination. James sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.


It looks like Tyson James has been cut.
James fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Laloosh manages to avoid it.
Laloosh looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Some bone on bone action there as James checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
A little jabbing left from James on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Decent striking displayed by James there.


It looks like Nuke Laloosh has been cut.
Laloosh throws an overhand right that lands on James's shoulder, as James tries to avoid the shot.
James misses with a wild body shot.

James clinches with his opponent.

Laloosh breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Laloosh misses with a looping right.
Laloosh uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by James.
Laloosh dodges the punch combination from James.
James throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Laloosh dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on James. That did some damage!
Laloosh fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

James scores with a jab to the jaw.
James smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Laloosh goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
James tries to clinch up but Laloosh circles away and keeps his distance.

Laloosh uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Laloosh moves into the clinch successfully.
James wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Laloosh has him pressed against the cage.
James pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
A left hand lands to the body for Laloosh.
James prevents a body shot from Laloosh.
A head punch on the inside from Laloosh fails to land.
Laloosh tried to land a shot to the body but connects with James's elbow.
James tries to pull guard but Laloosh holds him up against the cage and eventually James drops back down to his feet.

Laloosh breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Laloosh, as that shot connected.

This has been an exciting period of action!
A telegraphed right hand from Laloosh misses the target.
James now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Laloosh throws a front kick aimed at James's knee but James avoids it well.
James throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Laloosh slips a jab from James.
James swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A nice inside leg kick there by Laloosh. That's going to slow James down.
Laloosh rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but James moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
James has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

James moves into the clinch.
James trying to control the position but instead, Laloosh has worked for underhooks and has pushed James into the cage.
James tries to pull guard but Laloosh forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

James tries to score a body lock takedown but Laloosh shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Nuke Laloosh has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyson James.
James tries to work over Laloosh's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
James is struggling to control the position.
Laloosh stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
James lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

James's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
James tries to close the distance and clinch but Laloosh swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Laloosh avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
James punishes Laloosh's body with a nice straight punch.
James walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.


That has opened up Tyson James's cut even more.
Tyson James seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Laloosh swats away the attempt to clinch by James.

James tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Laloosh was well out of range. Poor timing from James.
This has been an exciting period of action!
James slips under a jab from Laloosh.
Laloosh's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Laloosh duly obliges.
James misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Laloosh.
Laloosh was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Laloosh uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from James.
James moves out of range of the strikes.

and Laloosh counters with a low kick, right behind James 's knee.
James tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Laloosh paws at him with a jab and circles away.
James tries to land a front kick but Laloosh steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
James fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Laloosh manages to avoid it.
James scores with a nice head shot.
Laloosh takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
A looping hook to the body misses from Laloosh. James does a little dance to reset his feet.
Laloosh takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
The fighters circling - James throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
It looked like Laloosh wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
A left and a right from James both land. Nice combination.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Nuke Laloosh will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

James tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Nuke Laloosh has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyson James.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Laloosh is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because James is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

James is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Laloosh pulls his head out easily.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's time! Laloosh's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

James's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Laloosh throws a body punch but James moves out of range.

Well Laloosh has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A less than humble Nuke Laloosh misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
