Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
17 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ivan Strashko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kalazzar Scar!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Nard Betker and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strashko avoids the head kick by Scar.
Strashko finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Strashko shoots for a takedown but Scar saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Strashko lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Scar moves in looking to clinch but Strashko pushes him off.
Strashko appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Scar takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Nice defenses there by Strashko.
Scar doesn't manage to clinch there - Strashko circles away.
Strashko throwing a counter right hand but Scar manages to avoid it.
Scar tries to keep at a distance but Strashko has taken the fight into the clinch.
We've been informed that Scar has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Strashko lands a right hand that snaps the head of Scar backwards.
Strashko presses Scar against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Scar misses with a knee to the head.
Strashko lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Scar fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Strashko lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Scar tries for a takedown but Strashko manages to get underhooks.
Scar stalling the fight.
Strashko pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Strashko lands a right hook to the body.
Strashko thuds a left hand into Scar's body.
Scar tries to clinch up.
Scar misses with a series of wild punches.
Scar stuffs the takedown attempt from Strashko. Strashko gets slowly back to his feet.
Scar throws a sloppy head kick and Strashko moves out of range easily.
Scar fails with an attempt to clinch.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Strashko.
Strashko blocks a head kick by Scar.
Scar takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Donk. Strashko catches Scar right on the button with a cross.
Scar throws a head kick that misses.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Scar tries to clinch up but Strashko circles away and keeps his distance.

Kalazzar Scar is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Scar throws a sloppy head kick and Strashko moves out of range easily.
No joy there for Scar, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Strashko seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Scar stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Strashko.
Strashko avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Strashko connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Scar's hands.
and Strashko counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Scar! He's just covering up as Strashko starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ivan Strashko!
Ivan Strashko took to the mic in his post fight interview and said 'Dont mess with cossacks you foolish englishman. And especially dont mess with Viking Cossacks.'.
