Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Khatir Afridi!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Anthony Taglia and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blood lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Afridi at a distance.
Afridi throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Afridi bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Blood's head backwards.
Blood throws a low kick but it's checked well by Afridi.
Afridi pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Afridi rushes Blood and presses him up against the ropes.
Afridi can't find room to land a body shot as Blood controls the action.
A head punch on the inside from Blood fails to land.
Afridi throws a punch but it's blocked by Blood.
Afridi struggles to land a body shot inside as Blood controls his hands.
I was talking to Blood's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Afridi breaks the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Afridi lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Afridi throws a hook but Blood blocks it.
Blood has a takedown stuffed.
Blood throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Blood tries to move into range but Afridi moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Afridi lands a nice looking body shot.
Blood slips a straight right by Afridi.
Afridi scores with a body shot.
Blood looks to land a combination but Afridi avoids it well.
Blood takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Today's fight clock is brought to you by... OOOH that's a huge shot by Afridi! Blood is in big trouble here - the ref steps in to save him and this one is all over!
