The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Peters does no damage.

Peters could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Peters. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Peters is looking to take a break and control but Smith is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Peters is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Smith knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Peters prevents Smith from escaping the position.

Peters is trying to get an arm triangle but Smith is defending well.
Smith manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
