Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bravo Herzog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alessandro Maximillian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alessandro Maximillian will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maximillian steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Herzog.
Herzog takes a jab right on the kisser.
It looks like Bravo Herzog has been cut.
Herzog ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Maximillian moves away.
Maximillian is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Herzog with a body shot.

Herzog throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Maximillian tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Herzog is in Maximillian's guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Herzog drops back, looking for a kneebar! Maximillian looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Maximillian looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Maximillian!

Maximillian is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Maximillian wants to stand but Herzog has his arm trapped.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Maximillian holds on and takes a little breather.
Herzog wants to pass the guard but Maximillian is keeping the position.
Maximillian wants to hit a switch here but Herzog passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Maximillian there!
Herzog is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Maximillian can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Herzog is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Maximillian has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Maximillian swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Herzog.

Herzog drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Maximillian manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Herzog has Maximillian in his guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Maximillian wants to control from the top but Herzog keeps moving.
Maximillian must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Maximillian might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Herzog haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Herzog is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Maximillian is aware though and is defending well.

Herzog is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Maximillian really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Herzog. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Herzog uses his free foot to push down on Maximillian's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Maximillian.

That was a close second round but I would say that Bravo Herzog will probably get the nod.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Herzog moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Maximillian feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Herzogs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

and Maximillian scores with a counter punch that sends Herzog to the canvas! Maximillian smells blood - he's punishing Herzog with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Herzog has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
