Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jordan Gatt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miller Gozu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miller Gozu has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jordan Gatt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Miller Gozu! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Fujiwara and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gozu throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Gozu throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Gatt shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Gozu is trying to defend but Gatt finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Gatt is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Gozu doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Gatt. Gozu looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Gozu is looking to improve his position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gozu is trying to maintain the position but Gatt is very close to passing his half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gozu tries to get to full guard but Gatt has control of the leg. Gozu is trying is best to control the position here. Gozu moves into full guard.

Gatt won't allow Gozu to sweep him here. Gozu keeping moving, preventing Gatt from controlling successfully. Gatt pushes down on Gozu's leg and manages to get into half guard. Gatt is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Gozu is positioning himself well to prevent Gatt advancing to mount. Gatt definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Gozu actively working from the bottom here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gatt is trying to control the action in half guard but Gozu is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Gozu is pressing down on Gatt's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Gozu working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gatt doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gatt manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Gatt throws a strike but Gozu rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Gatt can't keep his opponent in guard - Gozu advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Gozu wants to take a breather but Gatt is having none of it. Gozu content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Gatt is trying to maintain the position but Gozu is very close to passing his half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gatt wants to improve his position but Gozu is controlling well.
Gozu is looking for a kimura but Gatt is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Gozu to get the leverage. Gozu looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Gatt with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Gozu trying to mount his opponent but Gatt defends it. Gozu performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Gatt trying to hold on to Gozu's head to control him but Gozu postures up.
Gatt is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Gozu scores with a couple of nice shots. Gozu is figuring out what he wants to do next. Gozu looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gozu wants to pass the guard but Gatt is defending well. Gozu controlling the action here. Gozu is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Gozu landing strikes from the mount. Gatt wants to hold on but Gozu pushes him away. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Gozu takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Gozu's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Miller Gozu dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Gatt shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Gozu manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Gozu is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Gatt defends well. Gozu has control of Gatt's left arm, preventing Gatt from doing any damage. Gatt won't allow Gozu to sweep him here. Gozu has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Gatt postures up in Gozu's guard and throws a big left but Gozu blocks it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gozu working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Gatt. Miller Gozu has got the better of the ground game so far. Gozu trying to control the position here. Gatt is sitting in close to Gozu's body. Gozu has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Gatt is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Gatt is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Gozu.
