Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Johnny Badass!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, John Mad dog!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mad dog smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Mad dog is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
A slapping leg kick lands for Mad dog.
Mad dog moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mad dog shoots for a double leg takedown but Badass sprawls well. He's pushed Mad dog's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Badass looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Badass tries to stand and escape but Mad dog is controlling the position.

Badass decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Badass tries to close the distance and clinch but Mad dog swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Mad dog rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Badass moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Badass throws a sloppy head kick and Mad dog moves out of range easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mad dog pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Badass moves away from the strike by Mad dog.
Mad dog doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Badass counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Badass.
Mad dog can't break the clinch.
Mad dog wants to get back to striking at distance but Badass won't allow it.
Mad dog wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Badass misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Mad dog.

Badass escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Badass slips a jab and a cross from Mad dog.
Mad dog jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Badass fails with an attempt to clinch.
Badass misses with a combination
and Mad dog counters with a huge left! Badass is in big trouble! He's backing up but Mad dog isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Badass from any more damage. A dominating finish by Mad dog!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Mad dog!
