Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Teodoro Armstrong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roman Repenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roman Repenko will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Teodoro Armstrong! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Roman Repenko! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Konstantin Menshow and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Repenko closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Armstrong is trying to pull guard but Repenko has him pressed against the cage. Armstrong drops down looking for an ankle pick but Repenko pulls his leg out and moves away.
Armstrong doesn't succeed with the takedown and Repenko counters with an outside leg kick.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Teodoro Armstrong. That's going to take a lot out of him. Armstrong will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Repenko fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Armstrong, pushing him back against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Repenko dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Armstrong trying to control the position but instead, Repenko has worked for underhooks and has pushed Armstrong into the cage. Armstrong could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Repenko displaying some good clinch control by pressing Armstrong up against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Armstrong jumps into guard, dragging Repenko to the mat.
Armstrong controlling the position. Armstrong has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Repenko preventing the sweep.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Roman Repenko is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Repenko closes the distance and clinches. Repenko is pushing Armstrong up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Repenko taking a breather. Repenko avoiding damage.

Armstrong is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Repenko will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Armstrong up against the cage. Repenko comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
It looks like Teodoro Armstrong has been cut. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Repenko misses with a knee to the head. Armstrong stalling.

Roman Repenko dominated that round. The cut man is working on Teodoro Armstrong's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Repenko gets caught flat footed, as Armstrong shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Armstrong might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Repenko is working an open guard so Armstrong takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Repenko clinches up against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Repenko has Armstrong pressed against the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Roman Repenko. Repenko moves into the clinch successfully.

Repenko unloads a knee to the mid-section. Armstrong lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Armstrong takes a knee right on the jaw!

Repenko is pushing Armstrong up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Repenko with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Repenko connects with a knee to the head.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Armstrong manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Armstrong is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Armstrong is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Armstrong has control of Repenko's left arm, preventing Repenko from doing any damage. Armstrong looking for a sweep. Not yet Armstrong, not yet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Armstrong seems keen to control Repenko's posture. Repenko wants to stand and escape but instead Armstrong has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Repenko wants to stand but Armstrong is controlling the position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Armstrong is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Roman Repenko showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Teodoro Armstrong's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Armstrong tries for a takedown but Repenko circles away easily and Repenko counters with a nice low kick that buckles Armstrong's knee momentarily. Repenko drives through and clinches with Armstrong against the cage.

Repenko is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Armstrong is keeping busy. Repenko is persisting with his attempts to control the action in the clinch, rather than do any real damage. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Repenko connects with a nasty looking knee right to Armstrong's face.

Oh Armstrong is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Repenko takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Repenko has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Armstrong - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from Repenko, and another! Armstrong is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!
