Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Vayle Belval (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lincoln Hawk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hawk has chosen Winner Takes It All as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vayle Belval!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lincoln Hawk!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belval feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Hawks jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Hawk throws a body shot but no joy.
Belval throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Hawk moves out of range of the leg kick from Belval.
And Hawk tries to counter it with a takedown but Belval pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Belval tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hawk is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Belval misses with a body shot.
Hawk with the counter takedown but Belval avoids it easily.
Belval with a nice cross.
Belval tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hawk was well out of range. Poor timing from Belval.
Vayle Belval seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hawk clinches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Belval tries to circle away but Hawk has him pinned against the cage.
Hawk doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Belval is fighting off a takedown attempt but Hawk is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Belval to the mat. Belval regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Hawk slips nicely into half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Belval wants to get back to his feet.
Hawk looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Hawk is still trying to improve position.

Hawk is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Hawk performing his best blanket impression for a moment.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Hawk is looking for a kimura here.
Well, if Hawk is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Belval knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hawk on the ground.
Let's hope that Hawk has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hawk is trying to control the action in half guard but Belval is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Hawk is looking to advance position but Belval won't allow it.
Belval is trying to stand.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Hawk not doing much here.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
It looks like Hawk might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Belval is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
Hawk tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Belval manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Hawk closes the distance and clinches.
Hawk stalls.
Belval avoiding damage as Hawk throws knees to the body.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Belval gets underhooks to prevent Hawk's takedown attempt.
Hawk can't get the takedown.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lincoln Hawk dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Hawk looks to throw the jab but Belval is out of range.
Hawk has his takedown stuffed
enabling Belval to counter with a crisp jab.
Belval cracks Hawk with a right hand to the side of the head.
Belval throws a leg kick but Hawk moved away.
A telegraphed right hand from Hawk misses the target.
Hawk fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Belval staying out of range there.
Hawk takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Hawk fails to land the takedown.

No luck for Hawk with that takedown attempt.
Vayle Belval has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lincoln Hawk.
Belval missing with a left hand there. Hawk was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
And Hawk tries to counter it with a takedown but Belval pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Vayle Belval is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Belval misses with a straight left.

Hawk clinches up against the cage.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Hawk misses with a punch on the inside.
Belval is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Hawk's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Hawk misses the body punch
and Belval counters with a nice uppercut.
Hawk misses with a lunging right hand
and Belval counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hawk shoots in but Belval avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Hawk ducks under a wild hook from Belval.
A looping hook to the body misses from Hawk. Belval does a little dance to reset his feet.
Belval works Hawk's body with a nice hook.
Hawk tries to clinch up but Belval circles away and keeps his distance.
Belval is looking to counter punch.
Belval looks to score with a jab to the body but Hawk is just out of range.
Belval stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Hawk connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hawk throws a right hand that misses
and Hawk takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Belval clobbers Hawk with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Hawk tries to bum rush Belval with a series of wild strikes but Belval uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Belval appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Hawk darts in looking for a takedown but Belval gets double underhooks and turns Hawk into the cage.

Belval tries to keep at a distance but Hawk has taken the fight into the clinch.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Belval.
Hawk has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Belval is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Hawk drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Belval gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Belval working hard to break the clinch.

Hawk tries for a takedown. No joy.
Hawk has Belval pressed against the cage.
Belval gets underhooks to prevent Hawk's takedown attempt.
Hawk prevents Belval from breaking the clinch.
Hawk swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Hawk has hold of one of Belval's legs. Belval is fighting the takedown attempt but Hawk gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Hawk advances position into side control!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hawk is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Belval's shoulder. That is not cool.
Hawk trying to control the action but Belval is working from the bottom.
Belval is trying to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Vayle Belval dominated that second round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!


Belval loads up on a big right hand but Hawk slips the punch.
Hawk tries to close the distance and clinch up but Belval swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A swing and a miss from Belval.
Belval swinging wildly here.
Hawk throws an overhand right that lands on Belval's shoulder, as Belval tries to avoid the shot.
Hawk misses with an uppercut. Belval saw that one coming.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hawk falls off balance throwing a combination
letting Belval counter with a right hand.
Hawk shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hawk scores with a body shot.
Decent striking displayed by Belval there.
Hawk misses the body punch
and Belval counters with a nice uppercut.
Belval connects with a single shot there.


Hawk is rocked!
Belval lands with a shot to the body.
Hawk is still on wobbly legs! Can Belval finish him?
Belval throws an overhand right that drops Hawk like a sack of potatoes! Belval dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Vayle Belval!
After winning the bout, Vayle Belval thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
The defeated Lincoln Hawk had this to say: 'Stellllla!'.
