Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Loyd Anthony! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Frank Williams! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Russell Pearce and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williams clinches up with Anthony and pushes him back against the cage. Anthony looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Anthony is defending well against a takedown attempt. Anthony misses with a punch on the inside.
Williams goes for a takedown in the clinch but Anthony prevents it.

Anthony got a little sloppy there for a moment and Williams has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Anthony has managed to get both his arms back between Williams's legs - danger averted. Williams working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Anthony doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Anthony manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Williams looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Williams is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Williams really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Anthony. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

He pushes Anthony off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Williams drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Williams tries to advance to mount but can't. Williams decides to take the fight back to the feet. Anthony digs a good body shot into Williams's ribs. Anthony will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Williams fails with the takedown and Anthony counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Loyd Anthony has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank Williams. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Anthony throws a right and a left that both miss. Williams misses with a kick to the body.

Anthony is trying to get back to half guard. Williams has knee on belly and moves into mount. Anthony really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Williams controlling from the full mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Williams looking to secure an arm triangle but Anthony defends it well. Williams content just to control the position here. Williams stands up from mount. Strange move. Williams looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. A momentary lapse in concentration from Anthony enables Williams to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Anthony manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Anthony definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Williams showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Williams works over Anthony with some ground and pound from guard. Williams slips nicely into half guard. Anthony tries to get to full guard but Williams has control of the leg. Williams controlling the action here. Anthony tries to kick Williams off but Williams keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Williams has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Williams looking for a guillotine from mount but Anthony is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Williams gets the takedown into side control. Anthony explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! Williams throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Anthony's waist but Anthony gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Williams off to one side. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Williams is defended easily by Anthony. Anthony leaves Williams with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Loyd Anthony has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank Williams. Williams shoots in but Anthony avoids the takedown attempt easily. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Williams fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Anthony fails to land with a series of punches.
Williams closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Anthony's guard. Anthony is looking to stand back up but Williams counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Anthony.

The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Anthony manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Frank Williams has got the better of the ground game so far. Williams controlling the pace for now. Williams landing strikes from the mount. Williams can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Anthony is looking to escape. Williams controlling his opponent.

Williams takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Anthony is squirming around, avoiding Williams's attempts to control the action. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Frank Williams showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Anthony stuffs the takedown. Anthony swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Anthony lands a glancing blow to the side of Williams's head. Williams drives through with a takedown into Anthony's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Williams wants to control from the top but Anthony keeps moving. Williams must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Williams lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Williams scores with a couple of short elbows. Anthony is not content to let Williams control the position. Williams is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Anthony's shoulder. That is not cool.

He's almost out here... but no, Williams gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Williams tries to move into full mount but can't pass Anthony's legs. Anthony being controlled for a moment. Williams working the head and body with strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Anthony prevents Williams from improving position. Williams in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Anthony is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Williams has just dragged him back down to the mat. Anthony is not content to let Williams control the position. Williams controlling the position. Anthony tries to get back to half guard but can't. Loyd Anthony has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Williams tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Williams is putting a hurting on Anthony here, landing some big shots from side control. Williams is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Anthony's shoulder. That is not cool. Frank Williams is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that's the end of the fight! Frank Williams comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Williams winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
