Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nico Salas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Louie DePalma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Nico Salas has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Nico Salas seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nico Salas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Louie DePalma!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Richard Clark and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DePalma lands a nice looking body shot.
Salas moves out of range of the strikes.
DePalma scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Salas doesn't seem bothered though.

DePalma forces Salas back against the cage and clinches.
DePalma throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Salass head.


It looks like Nico Salas has been cut.
DePalma works on Salas's body with a couple of short punches.
Salas swings wildly with an uppercut but DePalma uses good head movement to avoid it.
DePalma scores with a nice hook to the head.
A left hand lands to the body for DePalma.
DePalma makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
DePalma avoiding damage.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Salas.
Salas trying to stall but DePalma improves his position.
Salas misses with the head strike.
DePalma pressing his opponent against the cage.
DePalma avoids a wild elbow strike from Salas.

That's one minute gone in the round.
DePalma lands with a short shot to the head.
With the fighters up against the cage, Salas throws an elbow but misses.
Salas taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Salas is trying to stall.
A hook to the body from DePalma.
A shot in the inside from DePalma.
DePalma slowing the pace effectively.
Salas scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Salas jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as DePalma walks away with a smile on his face. Salas gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
DePalma has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Salas is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Salas throws a sloppy body shot

and DePalma counters with a crisp right hand that drops Salas! DePalma lets Salas back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Salas avoids a punch combination nicely.
Salas throws a body shot but no joy.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Salas takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.


Salas is rocked!

DePalma moves into the clinch.
Oh Salas is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A nice left hand lands by DePalma.
Salas is looking to take this one to the mat.
DePalma lands a big right hand that drops Salas! The killer instinct kicks in and DePalma finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by DePalma!
