Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Altare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuri Hanzzle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Yuri Hanzzle was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hanzzle drives through with a takedown into Altare's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Altare is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Gym of the Gods that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.

Altare tries to close the distance and clinch but Hanzzle swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Hanzzle jumps guard but Altare turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hanzzle wants to sweep here but Altare controlling him for the moment.
Hanzzle has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Altare can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That was a close round but I would say that John Altare will probably get the nod.
That's time! Altare's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Altare tries to close the distance and clinch but Hanzzle swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Hanzzle feints a jab promting Altare to slip. Hanzzle then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Altare slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
It looks like John Altare has been cut.
Hanzzle throws a chopping leg kick but Altare manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Altare moves into the clinch successfully.
Hanzzle escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hanzzle misses with a head kick.
Altare doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Hanzzle takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Altare fails with an attempt to clinch.
