Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 30 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Greg Madison!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Drei Silker!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silker gets a clinch.
A nice right hand lands inside from Silker.
Madison blocks an uppercut.
Silker working aggressively here.

Silker dodges an elbow strike from Madison.
Madison goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Madison's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Silker has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Madison throws out a loose jab but Silker uses good head movement to avoid it.

Silker fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

A nice side step and Silker releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Silker pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Silker pushes Madison away with a front kick.
Silker moves in looking to clinch but Madison pushes him off.
Silker throws a combination. Madison tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Madison blocks a jab.
It looked like Madison was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Silker.

Silker thuds his shin into the meat of Madison's side.
Madison sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Silker swings widly with a right hand
and Madison connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
A head kick from Silker lands but Madison takes it in his stride.
Madison on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Silker. Silker obviously looking to wear him down.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Silker - that will leave a mark!

Silker dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Silker tries to bum rush Madison with a series of wild strikes but Madison uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Silker. Madison shrugs it off though.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A left and a right from Silker both land. Nice combination.
Silker throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Madison.

Silker lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

Madison's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Silker connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Madison scrambles back to his feet.
Silker throws a lazy right hand but Madison sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Silker uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Madison.
Madison tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Silker was well out of range. Poor timing from Madison.

Silker connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Madison momentarily.

Madison with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Silker to score with a decent uppercut.

Madison chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Silker can pounce on him.
Madison will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Drei Silker comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Silker has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
