Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Wick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Octopus Crime (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Octopus Crime has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, John Wick! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Octopus Crime! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Seu Braga and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick misses from Wick. Wick tries for a takedown but Crime sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Crime with the counter takedown but Wick avoids it easily. Wick tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Crime was well out of range. Poor timing from Wick. Wick fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Crime, pushing him back against the cage. Wick is struggling to control the position. Wick lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Wick is fighting off a takedown attempt but Crime is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Wick to the mat. Wick regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Crime is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Crime not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Crime has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crime wants to pass the guard but Wick is keeping the position. Crime seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Let's hope that Crime has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Wick will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Crime's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Wick working a defensive guard here.
Crime passes into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wick is defending against the submission attempts here by Crime.
Wick pushes Crime off and gets back to his feet. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Wick - that will leave a mark!
Wick shoots in and bounces Crime off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wick content to stall in guard here. Wick trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Crime tries to land a sweep but no joy. Wick trying to control the position from guard on top but Crime is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Wick throws a big elbow that misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Wick would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Wick throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Crime gets tackled into the cage by Wick. Wick maintains the clinch. Crime jumps guard but Wick turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Wick tries to score a body lock takedown but Crime shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Wick wants to break the clinch but can't.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Wick breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Crime gets the takedown into side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Wick dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Wick falls off balance throwing a combination
and Crime counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Crime is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Wick regains full guard. Nicely done. Crime is working Wick over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Crime sitting in guard, not really doing much. Crime won't allow Wick to sweep him here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Crime tries to free his leg and advance position but Wick is retaining full guard. Crime's corner is telling him to maintain position. Wick really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crime cracks Wick with a solid left hand. Crime controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Crime. Crime missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Octopus Crime has got the better of the ground game so far. Crime prevents Wick from getting back to his feet.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Wick is looking to clinch but Crime is avoiding it.
Crime stuffs the takedown attempt from Wick. Wick gets slowly back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Wick has Crime up against the cage in a clinch.
Wick jumps guard but Crime stands there with Wick around his waist. Wick gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Wick tries to score a body lock takedown but Crime shows good agility there to stay on his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Wick. That's going to take a lot out of him. Crime tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Wick just stands there and leans against the cage. Wick's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wick tries to clinch but Crime moves out of range. Wick closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Crime quickly recovers to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wick throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Wick prevents Crime from improving his position. Crime avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Wick. Crime tries to roll over but Wick keeps him under control. Crime is breathing heavily. Crime manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Wick keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. Wick is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wick can't break the clinch.

Wick connects with a body shot. Sloppy strikes from Wick. Those never looked like landing. Crime feints the counter takedown. Wick looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Crime takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
John Wick is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Crime drives through with a takedown into Wick's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Crime not doing a lot at the moment. A close second round but Octopus Crime will probably get the nod - 10:9. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Wick will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Crime tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Crime shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Wick defends it nicely. Wick stuffs the takedown attempt from Crime. Crime gets slowly back to his feet. It looked like Wick was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Crime shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Wick counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. John Wick has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Octopus Crime. Crime takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Wick throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crime will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Wick wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. No luck for Crime with that takedown attempt. Wick is looking to counter the offense by Crime and move into the clinch. Wick lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Crime crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Wick - the referee stops the clock and Crime gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Wick. Crime manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Wick has Crime up against the cage in a clinch.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Wick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Crime can't get the takedown.
A nice right hand lands inside from Wick. Wick goes for a takedown in the clinch but Crime prevents it.
Wick has had enough of the clinch but Crime keeps him there for the moment. Wick breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Wick misses with a wild combination.
Crime feints the counter takedown. Wick lands a front kick.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Wick tries to clinch but Crime is having none of it. Wick is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Crime can do to turn this around? Wick throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Crime fails with a takedown attempt. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Wick is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Crime tries to counter with a clinch but Wick shakes him off and moves away.
And that's the end of the fight! John Wick showed his dominance in that final round. I think Wick has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
