Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randall Dudley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mohamad Essam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Essam's choice of entrance music: Last man standing. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Essam fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Dudley sprawls well initially but Essam persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Dudley is trying to get back to full guard.
Essam perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Dudley wants to improve his position but Essam is controlling well.
Essam stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Dudley to get to his feet.

Essam has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dudley can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Dudley got a little sloppy there for a moment and Essam has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dudley has managed to get both his arms back between Essam's legs - danger averted.
Dudley seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Dudley remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Randall Dudley.
I think Essam has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

After the fight, Mohamad Essam was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
