The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Christian to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Jones throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Christian escapes and throws Jones's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Christian decides to stand back up.
Jones is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Christian closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Jones tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
Christian could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Christian looking to break Jones's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Jones remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Christian will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
