Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pnom Kaputt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Wright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Pnom Kaputt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Steve Wright! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yukihiro Shimada and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kaputt blocks a head kick by Wright.
Wright tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kaputt swats him away and circles back towards the center. Wright tries to keep at a distance but Kaputt has taken the fight into the clinch. Wright gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Kaputt.
Kaputt wants to break free but Wright has control.
Knees in the clinch landing for Kaputt.
Kaputt is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Kaputt has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Wright is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wright throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Kaputt blocks it with crossed arms. Kaputt wants to break the clinch but can't.
Wright wants to stall.
Kaputt is looking to break free of the clinch but Wright has double underhooks.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wright gets control of Kaputt's arms and successfully pulls guard. Wright will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Wright wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Kaputt decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Wright lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Kaputt shoots in looking for a takedown. Wright tries to sprawl out of it but Kaputt keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wright manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pnom Kaputt. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nice takedown defense from Wright. No joy for Kaputt on that attempt. A combination from Kaputt does no damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kaputt throws a lazy head kick and Wright counters by moving into the clinch. Kaputt is breathing heavily. Kaputt trying to land knees to the body.
Kaputt wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

It looks like Pnom Kaputt has been cut. Kaputt lands a right hand. Kaputt gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Wright.
With the fighters up against the cage, Wright throws an elbow but misses. Wright jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kaputt walks away with a smile on his face. Wright gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Wright moves forwards but Kaputt connects with a nice, crisp jab.
It looks like Steve Wright has been cut. Wright connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Kaputt misses with a double jab
and Wright counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Kaputt wants to improve his position but Wright is controlling well.
Wright seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Kaputt is looking for a sweep. Wright is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wright sitting and controlling from the half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Steve Wright dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Kaputt misses with a takedown attempt and Wright counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Wright decides to return to a standing position. Wright tries to clinch there but Kaputt circles away.
Wright fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kaputt, pushing him back against the cage. Kaputt crunches a lovely knee into Wright's ribcage. Kaputt is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Kaputt seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression. Kaputt looking for a takedown. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kaputt trying to land knees to the body.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kaputt is trying to maintain the position but Wright is very close to passing his half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wright wants to take a breather but Kaputt is having none of it. Kaputt wants to improve his position but Wright is controlling well.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Kaputt closes the distance looking to clinch and Wright counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Wright. Kaputt breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Steve Wright showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Wright seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kaputt does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Kaputt is looking for a sweep. That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Kaputt is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. A control attempt from Kaputt but he's now mounted! Kaputt is in all sorts of trouble here.
Kaputt wants to control but Wright is having none of it. Kaputt is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wright get's back to his feet. Kaputt looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Kaputt pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kaputt tries to bum rush Wright with a series of wild strikes but Wright uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Kaputt with a lazy takedown attempt and Wright counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Kaputt's guard now. Kaputt is working an open guard so Wright takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wright avoids a punch combination nicely.
Wright scores a takedown into full mount! Kaputt is trying desperately to improve position. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Wright cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Kaputt is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Pnom Kaputt has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Steve Wright is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Kaputt swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
And that's the end of the fight! Steve Wright comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Wright winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
