Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hans Talley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mario Pohl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Hans Talley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Mario Pohl! The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Atkins and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Talley fails with a takedown attempt. Pohl raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Pohl tries a head kick but it misses.
Talley tries to clinch there but Pohl circles away.
Talley looks for a takedown but Pohl sprawls well. Pohl was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. Talley fails in his attempt to clinch. Pohl is clearly looking to counter with head kicks. Talley tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pohl sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Talley somewhat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hans Talley. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pohl misses with a body kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Talley looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Pohl throws a head kick that misses. Pohl throws a sloppy head kick and Talley counters with a two punch combo. Talley fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Pohl is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Talley avoids the body shot from Pohl.
Pohl is looking to land body kicks. Pohl fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Talley checks it well. Talley attempts a counter takedown but Pohl avoids it well and moves away. Pohl misses the shot to the body. Pohl throws a sloppy head kick and Talley moves out of range easily. Talley tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Pohl manages to circle out of the way.

Pohl misses with a body kick. Talley moves out of range of the body kick. Pohl keeps the fight on the outside. Pohl throws the kick towards the body but Talley avoids it. Talley feinted with a counter takedown. Pohl misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Talley went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Pohl throws a head kick but Talley moves out of range.

Pohl lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Pohl stuffs the takedown. Talley will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Pohl throws a head kick but Talley moves out of range.

Mario Pohl seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pohl is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Talley is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Pohl's half guard. Pohl is trying to stand back up but Talley is controlling him
Talley really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Pohl is kicking away at Talley from the bottom - trying to push off and stand up. Talley grabs hold of a leg and drops back for a heel hook! The two fighters roll across the mat, with Pohl trying to push Talley off... Pohl taps! He's tapped! This one is all over! A throwback to the old Pancrase there with an infrequently seen submission hold! Nice work.
