Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Trent Punchy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luu Viulu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Trent Punchy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
40 - 27 - 2, fighting out of Tokyo, Luu Viulu! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Ian Loll and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Viulu will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Punchy throws a counter high kick but Viulu was just alert enough to avoid it. Viulu shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Punchy pinned against the cage. Punchy gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Punchy blocks a jab. Viulu throws a series of punches but Punchy avoids them all with ease. Punchy cracks Viulu with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Viulu darts in trying to clinch and Punchy counters with a straight right hand. Viulu misses with a looping left. Viulu has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Punchy dodges the punch combination from Viulu.
Punchy drops down looking for a counter takedown but Viulu sprawls and moves away. Nice body punch from Punchy. Punchy shoots in and bounces Viulu off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Punchy missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Punchy throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Viulu works some decent striking defense from the bottom. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Punchy accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Punchy has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Punchy working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. That's two minutes gone in the round. Punchy with a flurry of punches that miss. Punchy is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Hart Family Dungeon that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet. Viulu is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Punchy is controlling him. Punchy working some strikes from top position. Punchy content to stall in guard here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Punchy throws an elbow that misses. Viulu uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Punchy's guard. Nice move by Viulu! Punchy working a defensive guard here.
Punchy is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's three minutes gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Punchy is on top in guard.
Punchy engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Punchy lands a couple of elbows. Punchy is looking to work some ground and pound but Viulu has wrist control. Viulu wants to stand but Punchy is controlling the position. Punchy trying to control but Viulu is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Viulu utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Punchy is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Punchy accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Viulu is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Punchy working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Viulu's head. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Punchy trying to control but Viulu is working from the bottom. Punchy throws a big right hand that misses. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

and Punchy cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Viulu misses with a takedown attempt - Punchy sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Viulu throws a right and a left that Punchy avoids nicely. Punchy misses with an uppercut. A punch combination from Viulu misses. Punchy uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Viulu. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Viulu lands with a shot to the body. Viulu gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Viulu throws a hook to the side of Punchy's head but Punchy sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Punchy takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
That's one minute gone in the round. Viulu avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Punchy decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Punchy seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Viulu does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Punchy not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Viulu trying to hold on to Punchy's head to control him but Punchy postures up.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Punchy connects with a nice short shot to Viulu's temple. Punchy trying to control from half guard but Viulu is working away. Punchy wants to pass the guard but Viulu is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Punchy with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Viulu taking some punishment here, with Punchy in his half guard. Viulu makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Viulu. Punchy trying to control the position from guard on top but Viulu is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Viulu wants to get back to his feet but Punchy is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Punchy in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Punchy throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Viulu wants to stand and escape but Punchy is having none of it.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Punchy works Viulu's body with a nice hook. Viulu clinches up against the cage. Viulu throws a punch but it's blocked by Punchy. Punchy misses with a short punch on the inside. Viulu scores with a shoulder strike. Viulu is looking to control Punchy's arms but Punchy gets an underhook and turns him. Now Viulu has his back to the cage. Viulu using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Punchy has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Punchy comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Viulu wants to stall.
Viulu lands with a right to the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Punchy breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Luu Viulu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Punchy closes the distance and lands a one-two.
It looks like Luu Viulu has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Punchy lands a nice hook to Viulu's body. Viulu takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Trent Punchy is winning the standup battle so far. Viulu needs to keep his hands up - Punchy had a free shot at his head there. Viulu with a poor takedown and Punchy counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Viulu off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Punchy follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Viulu was out before he hit the floor.
