Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Khalid Mamedov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gary Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mamedov's entrance music is Shamhan Daldaev - Eto Kavkaz. A fine choice. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wallace scores with a three punch combo!

Wallace throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Mamedov stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Mamedov seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Mamedov is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Wallace can do to turn this around? Wallace stuns Mamedov with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Mamedov wants to clinch up but Wallace keeps it at a distance. Wallace throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Wallace looks to score with a jab to the body but Mamedov is just out of range. Mamedov lands the left hand. Mamedov throws a big shot that misses. Mamedov throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Wallace unleashes a big counter combination but Mamedov bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Wallace tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mamedov was well out of range. Poor timing from Wallace. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wallace lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Wallace throws a hook but Mamedov blocks it. Mamedov uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Wallace. Wallace fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mamedov manages to avoid it. Mamedov attempts a counter takedown but Wallace avoids it well and moves away. Wallace has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

A combination from Wallace does no damage. Wallace is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Mamedov. Wallace lands a right hook to the body.

and Mamedov counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Wallace can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Mamedov controls the pace. Mamedov stands and throws Wallace's legs to the side, diving into side control. Mamedov moves into full mount! Mamedov is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Wallace has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Mamedov is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Wallace can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wallace bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mamedov manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Wallace manages to get himself to full guard.

Mamedov slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Wallace can't keep his opponent in guard - Mamedov advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Wallace is concentrating on defense, preventing Mamedov from advancing position. Mamedov not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Mamedov wants to control but Wallace is keeping him busy. Mamedov is looking for a kimura but Wallace is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Mamedov to get the leverage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Mamedov wants to work for an arm triangle but Wallace is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

That was a close second round but I would say that Khalid Mamedov will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Wallace throws a big elbow that misses. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Mamedov is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
