Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Knight Dragon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and BJ Chavez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Knight Dragon had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 146.8lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. BJ Chavez has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Knight Dragon's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dragon shoots in for a double leg but Chavez sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Chavez pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Chavez scores with a takedown into Dragon's guard.
Dragon wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Chavez manages to pass to side control.

Dragon is refusing to be controlled, as Chavez sits in half guard.
Dragon definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Dragon wants to improve his position but Chavez is controlling well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Chavez drops an elbow to the side of Dragon's head.

Chavez is looking to take a break and control but Dragon is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dragon is looking for a sweep. Chavez is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Dragon flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Dragon tries to kick Chavez off but Chavez keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Dragon wants to get back to full guard.
Chavez wants to take a breather but Dragon is having none of it.

Chavez is keen to just control but Dragon is a slippery customer.
Chavez lands with a punch from half guard.
Chavez drops an elbow to the side of Dragon's head.

Dragon is rocked!
