Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, David McSwizzer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Marco Blues!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Bart Greer and Peter Branson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McSwizzer is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Blues defends it well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McSwizzer wants to stand but Blues has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

McSwizzer escapes and gets back to his feet.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Blues takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Blues takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

McSwizzer leaves Blues with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

McSwizzer is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Blues to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Blues shrugs it off.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to David McSwizzer.
Well McSwizzer has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
