Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Vern Dickerson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Vern Dickerson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Frank Hunt! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hunt darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
It looks like Vern Dickerson has been cut. Hunt swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Dickerson counters with a straight right hand. Dickerson slips a jab and a cross from Hunt.
As Hunt looks to move away, Dickerson throws a big counter combo but Hunt just gets out of the way. Hunt throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Dickerson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Dickerson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hunt looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Dickerson has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Frank Hunt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hunt just misses with a punch to the body.
Hunt scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. This has been an exciting period of action! Dickerson moves into range and clinches up with Hunt. Dickerson throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Dickerson manages to break the clinch.
Dickerson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Dickerson is looking for a counter combo. Hunt takes the fight into the clinch. A frustrated look appears on Hunt's face as he tries to break the clinch. Hunt wants to get back to striking at distance but Dickerson won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dickerson breaks the clinch.
Hunt fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Dickerson, pushing him back against the cage. Hunt breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hunt misses with a looping right. Hunt connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Dickerson is rocked! Hunt is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Dickerson flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Dickerson is out cold! Hunt holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Frank Hunt!
