PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Justin Time (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrei Fedor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Andrei Fedor!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Winston Alpacca and David Hoff.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Time misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Fedor moves into range and connects with a jab.
Fedor misses with an uppercut.
Time was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Time throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Time closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Time works over Fedor's head and body with a nice combination.
Good exchange - Time coming out on top.

Fedor lands a left and a right that sends Time crashing to the canvas! Fedor dives into mount looking to finish!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Fedor needs to keep his hands up - Time had a free shot at his head there.

Time wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Fedor moves forwards but Time connects with a nice, crisp jab.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Andrei Fedor will probably get the nod.

Time takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
A decent looking cross lands there for Fedor.
Fedor dodges the punch combination from Time.
Time bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Fedor misses with an uppercut. Time saw that one coming.
Time throws a series of punches but Fedor avoids them all with ease.

Time lands a glancing blow to the side of Fedor's head.
Fedor feints a jab promting Time to slip. Fedor then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Time slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Fedor might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Fedor takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Fedor is rocked!
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Fedor in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

and Time counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Fedor badly! Time follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Fedor out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Time finished him against the cage.
