Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bastyn Dall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antoni Hong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dall comes into the arena with Beast blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bastyn Dall! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 14 - 0, fighting out of London, Antoni Hong! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dall chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Dall connects with a leg kick. Hong looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Bastyn Dall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hong bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Dall's head. Dall pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hong staying out of range there. Hong feints a counter leg kick. Hong throws a leg kick and Dall counters with a lovely straight right hand! Dall connects with a leg kick. Hong looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Dall cracks the inside of Hong's front leg. Dall throws a hook but Hong avoids it easily. Dall keeps the fight on the outside. Dall misses the shot to the body. Hong checks the leg kick nicely there.
A slow jab from Dall misses its intended target. Dall plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
That's one minute gone in the round. Dall moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Hong ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dall moves away. Hong fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Dall looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Dall lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Hong dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Dall. That did some damage! Dall looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Dall jabbing away but nothing is landing. Dall throws a jab when Hong was well out of range. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Hong! But no joy. Hong moves out of range of the leg kick from Dall. A shot to the liver by Dall. Beautiful body shot. Dall throws a body punch but Hong moves out of range. Hong has managed to clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Hong lands with a right to the head. Dall manages to break the clinch.
This has been an exciting period of action! Dall connects with a body shot that sends Hong's belly button to the back. The crowd cheers as Hong lands an impressive looking overhand right. Dall doesn't seem phased though. Dall misses with a double jab.
Dall listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Dall throws an overhand right that lands on Hong's shoulder, as Hong tries to avoid the shot. Hong steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. Dall misses with a low kick. Dall throws a shot from downtown. Hong moves away and avoids it. Dall lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Hong misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Dall lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Dall keeps the fight on the outside. Hong throws a shot to the body.
Hong takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Dall throws a poor cross that misses
and Hong counters with a straight right hand. Dall thumps Hong with a low kick. Dall lands a jab. Hong changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hong waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Dall. Dall misses with a hook to the body
and Hong counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Dall throws a jab when Hong was well out of range. Dall misses with a looping right. Dall walks into a jab. Hong throws a jab when Dall was well out of range. Dall tries to counter with a takedown but Hong is quick to defend against it. Dall lunges at Hong with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Hong's hand. Hong misses with an uppercut
and Dall counters with a nice low kick that buckles Hong's knee momentarily. Dall looks to land a left hand but Hong moved out of range nicely. Dall misses with the body kick and Hong cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Hong tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dall was well out of range. Poor timing from Hong. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bastyn Dall dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Dall lands a jab to the head.
Hong misses with a body shot.
Dall feinted with a counter takedown. Dall looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Hong connects with a jab. Dall connects with an inside leg kick. Hong tries a head kick but it misses.
Hong checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Hong scores with a hook. Hong's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dall swats away the attempt to clinch by Hong. A low kick from Dall is predictable there and Hong counters with a nice uppercut. Hong on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dall throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hong sees it coming and avoids it easily. Hong takes a swing at Dall's ribcage but misses. Dall throws a leg kick and Hong counters with a stiff right hand. Hong has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Dall lands with a hook. Hong tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Hong stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Dall. Dall explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. A low kick from Hong misses and Dall counters with a single leg into guard. Hong didn't expect that. Hong is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hong content to control rather than advance. Dall tries to get to full guard but Hong has control of the leg.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are battling for position here. Dall manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Hong wants to control from the top but Dall keeps moving. Hong slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Dall is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dall manages to get to full guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Bastyn Dall will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
A big right from Dall misses. Hong misses with a body kick. Dall lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Dall thuds a left hand into Hong's body. A shot to the liver by Hong. Beautiful body shot. Dall closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Dall lands in his opponent's guard. Dall tries to free his leg and advance position but Hong is retaining full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dall has gone for a leg lock! Hong slips out almost immediately though and dives into Dall's guard.
Dall working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hong doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hong manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hong trying to control the position from guard on top but Dall is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dall escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hong gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Hong avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Dall working a defensive guard but Hong manages to pass into side control anyway.

Bastyn Dall is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Hong looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Dall tries to roll over but Hong keeps him under control. Dall gets full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Dall not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Dall throws a right hand that misses
and Hong makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Good leg kick by Dall there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Dall looks to throw the jab but Hong is out of range. Hong ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Hong throws a leg kick but Dall checks it. Hong tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Dall tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hong defends well and Dall ends up having to push Hong into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Bastyn Dall. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dall, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
