The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good leg kick by Boyd there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Boyd circles away from the clinch attempt.
Schwarzeneg closes the distance and clinches up with Boyd, looking for a takedown. Schwarzeneg pushes Boyd against the cage but Boyd circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Boyd scoring well with a low kick there.
Boyd connects with a solid leg kick.
Schwarzeneg tries to clinch up but Boyd circles away and keeps his distance.
Boyd attempts a counter takedown but Schwarzeneg avoids it well and moves away.
A cross from Schwarzeneg lands.
Schwarzeneg misses with a body shot.
Schwarzeneg throws a series of punches but Boyd avoids them all with ease.
Boyd lands with a straight right. Schwarzeneg didn't see that one coming.
Schwarzeneg moves in looking to clinch but Boyd pushes him off.
Sloppy strikes from Schwarzeneg. Those never looked like landing.
Boyd scores with a nice head shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Schwarzeneg tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Boyd manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Boyd scores with a decent looking hook.

Schwarzeneg is rocked!
Boyd lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Schwarzeneg up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Boyd from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Schwarzeneg's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
