Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Garrison Greenfield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Masters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Masters has chosen The Masterpiece as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Garrison Greenfield! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Chris Masters! The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Winston Alpacca and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Masters does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Masters slaps away a takedown attempt from Greenfield, before circling back to the center of the mat. Masters scoring well with a low kick there.

Masters's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Masters duly obliges. Greenfield scores with a takedown into Masters's guard. Greenfield sitting in guard, not really doing much. Masters throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

That's one minute gone in the round. Masters wants to stand and escape but Greenfield is having none of it. Greenfield slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Masters is trying to control the position but Greenfield postures up. Masters tries to land a sweep but no joy. Greenfield not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Greenfield looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Masters feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Greenfield's calf. Greenfield keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Greenfield fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Masters wants to counter with a clinch but Greenfield pushes him away. Masters rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Greenfield moves out of range and avoids them all easily. An inside leg kick from Masters misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Greenfield shoots in but Masters avoids the takedown attempt easily. Masters is looking for the big counter here. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Garrison Greenfield. That's going to take a lot out of him. Masters's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Masters duly obliges. Masters's coach down at Island Top Team was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Masters's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Greenfield shoots in for a takedown but Masters shows good takedown defense. Masters throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Greenfield. Masters connects with an inside leg kick. Greenfield fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. A low kick from Masters is predictable there and Greenfield counters with a nice double leg into half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Greenfield looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Greenfield looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Greenfield is pressing down on Masters's thigh, looking to free his foot. Masters is holding on for now. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Greenfield content to control rather than advance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Greenfield stands up from half guard. Greenfield is looking to take this fight into the clinch. And Masters tries to counter it with a takedown but Greenfield pushes his down on his head and steps out. Masters tries a low kick but Greenfield avoids it. Greenfield feinted with a counter takedown. Masters misses with a series of wild punches.
Masters walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Greenfield checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Greenfield keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Greenfield looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Some bone on bone action there as Greenfield checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. A low kick from Masters misses so Greenfield counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Masters wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Greenfield manages to pass to side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chris Masters dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Masters misses with a low kick. Greenfield shoots in for a double leg but Masters sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Masters throws a counter combo. Masters throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Greenfield. Masters misses with a double jab
and Greenfield decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Masters's guard. Masters is looking to stand back up but Greenfield counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Masters. Well, if Greenfield is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Garrison Greenfield overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Masters has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Greenfield is working away from the top position though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Still in half guard, Greenfield seems content to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Masters won't allow Greenfield to pass to mount. Greenfield frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Greenfield tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Greenfield seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Masters for as long as he can get away with.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Masters has given up his back here. Will Greenfield look for the submission or keep pounding away?
Masters is breathing heavily. Greenfield is working for a rear naked choke. Masters is not defending it well and Greenfield has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Masters refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Masters's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
