Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tom Vos! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Stanislav Guschin! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vos connects with a right hand. Guschin shakes it off. Vos shoots in and drives through. Guschin sprawls well. Vos misses with a looping left. Guschin moves out of range as Vos strikes. Guschin scores with a shot to the body.
Vos misses with the combination.
Vos tries to keep at a distance but Guschin has taken the fight into the clinch. Guschin dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Vos works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Vos stopping the sweep attempt from Guschin. Guschin is trying to hold Vos in close to prevent damage but Vos has managed to pass into half guard.
Vos prevents Guschin from improving his position. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Vos is looking to take a break and control but Guschin is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Guschin misses with some strikes from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Vos is controlling the pace.
Vos is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Guschin still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Guschin has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work! Guschin working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Guschin cracks Vos with a big right hand but Vos just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vos taking a bit of punishment here - Guschin scoring with strikes. Vos manages to get back to half guard. Vos is trying to get back to full guard. Guschin is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Vos tries to get to full guard but Guschin has control of the leg. Guschin scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
It looks like Tom Vos has been cut. Guschin is thwarting Vos's attempts to control the position. Ground and pound from Guschin.
Tom Vos's cut is getting worse. Guschin lands a big elbow - Vos is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Guschin!
