Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Meyers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manos Anagnostopoulos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Manos Anagnostopoulos has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Kevin Meyers's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kevin Meyers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Manos Anagnostopoulos! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Sergei Dronov and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Anagnostopoulos closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Meyers did well to prevent Anagnostopoulos getting side control. Meyers wants to control but Anagnostopoulos is keeping busy and won't allow it. Meyers is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. Meyers gets back to full guard.
Meyers working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Anagnostopoulos doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Anagnostopoulos manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Meyers is striking but Anagnostopoulos is not phased and passes to half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Anagnostopoulos works his way into full mount! Meyers tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anagnostopoulos is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Meyers scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Anagnostopoulos actively working from the bottom here. Meyers controlling the pace. Meyers decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Anagnostopoulos darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Meyers scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Anagnostopoulos manages to mount him!
Anagnostopoulos avoids the attempt from Meyers to control. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Meyers really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Anagnostopoulos is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Meyers can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Anagnostopoulos trying to control but he's not successful this time. Meyers keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Anagnostopoulos landing strikes from the mount and Meyers is in trouble! Anagnostopoulos jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Meyers is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Meyers and Anagnostopoulos has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Meyers is looking for a sweep. Meyers really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Meyers is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Anagnostopoulos asserts his dominance and retains side control. Meyers knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Anagnostopoulos on the ground. Meyers is positioning himself to get back to half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Manos Anagnostopoulos dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Meyers has Anagnostopoulos up against the cage in a clinch.
Meyers has hold of one of Anagnostopoulos's legs. Anagnostopoulos is fighting the takedown attempt but Meyers gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Meyers stands up from guard. Let's bang! Anagnostopoulos shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Meyers manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Meyers wants to sweep but no luck. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Meyers isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Anagnostopoulos stacks Meyers on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Anagnostopoulos! Meyers tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
That's one minute gone in the round. Meyers showing good submission defense here.
Meyers tries to escape but he's let his defenses down in doing so and Anagnostopoulos has slipped in the rear naked choke! Oh, that's tiiiiiiiiight! Meyers is tapping! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
