Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wheaton has managed to clinch.
Winters breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Good leg kick by Winters there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Winters fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Wheaton, pushing him back against the cage.
Wheaton jumps into guard, dragging Winters to the mat.
Winters might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Winters avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wheaton is working an open guard so Winters takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Wheaton accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Wheaton drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Winters manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Wheaton has Winters in his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Winters gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Wheaton throws a series of punches but Winters moves out of range.
As Wheaton looks to move away, Winters throws a big counter combo but Wheaton just gets out of the way.

Winters darts in and clinches Wheaton up against the cage.
Winters pulls guard effortlessly.
Wheaton trying to control the position from guard on top but Winters is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Wheaton has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
