Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Norbert Aguilar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bogdan Stoica (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Valeri Chadov and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aguilar tries for a takedown but Stoica sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Stoica feints and as Aguilar raises his hands in defense, Stoica changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Aguilar lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Aguilar would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Stoica is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Aguilar stands and steps away. Stoica gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Stoica gets caught napping as Aguilar dives in and scores a takedown. Stoica manages to retain guard.
Aguilar postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Stoica is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Aguilar, into his guard.
Stoica wants to pass the guard but Aguilar is keeping the position.
Stoica distracts Aguilar with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Stoica lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Aguilar uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Aguilar shoots in for a takedown but Stoica shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Stoica steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Aguilar.
Aguilar dives in for a single leg takedown but Stoica sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Norbert Aguilar. That's going to take a lot out of him.

It looks like Norbert Aguilar has been cut.
Stoica closes the distance looking for a takedown. Aguilar stuffs it but Stoica still has hold of him. Stoica picks Aguilar up in a fireman's lift! The crowd roars in approval. Stoica slams Aguilar to the floor and that's really hurt Aguilar - he doesn't know where he is! Stoica throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!

Bogdan Stoica bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
