Pinto has chosen Three 6 Mafia featuring Akon & Jim Jones - That's Right as his entrance music. Beef Cake had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Thiago Cunha and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cake drops Pinto with a right and a left! Cake comes rushing in but Pinto regains his composure and manages to keep Cake in guard.
It looks like Javier Pinto has been cut.
Cake stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Cake misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Cake is looking to clinch but Pinto is avoiding it.

With the fighters up against the cage, Cake throws an elbow but misses.

Pinto tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Cake smiles and moves away.
Cake moves into range and clinches up with Pinto.
Pinto tries to pull guard but Cake holds him up against the cage and eventually Pinto drops back down to his feet.
Beef Cake has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Javier Pinto.
Pinto tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Pinto tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Cake just stands there and leans against the cage.
Cake scores with a shot to the side of Pinto's head.
Cake working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Pinto ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Pinto no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Cake knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pinto on the ground.
Cake postures up.
Cake wants to stand but Pinto has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Pinto throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Cake escapes and throws Pinto's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Pinto is looking for a sweep.
Cake stands up.
Pinto tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Cake swivels and escapes.
Pinto looks gassed!
Pinto avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Cake fails to land with a series of punches.
Cake thows a body shot but no joy.
Cake throws an overhand right that lands on Pinto's shoulder, as Pinto tries to avoid the shot.
Cake moves into the clinch successfully.
Cake lands with a left to the head.
Pinto tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Cake just stands there and leans against the cage.
Cake lands a nice uppercut.
Cake doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Cake lands a damaging elbow.
Cake lands a shoulder strike.
Cake throws an elbow that misses.
Pinto pulls guard effortlessly.
Pinto had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Cake is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Pinto Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Cake's back instead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cake is trying to get back to his feet but Pinto has full control of the position and if anything, Cake has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Pinto is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Cake won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Pinto off his unconscious opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Javier Pinto!
