Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Uncle Creepy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tom Donowitz! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Creepy dips to his left and cracks Donowitz with an uppercut! A chopping leg kick lands by Creepy. Donowitz misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Donowitz takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Donowitz tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Donowitz lands a slapping body shot.
Nice straight punches there by Creepy. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Creepy. Donowitz throws a hook but Creepy blocks it. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Donowitz has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Creepy throws a jab when Donowitz was well out of range. Creepy needs to keep his hands up - Donowitz had a free shot at his head there. Creepy wants to slow Donowitz down by chopping away at his legs. Donowitz throws a hook but Creepy blocks it. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Creepy looks to land a left hand but Donowitz moved out of range nicely. Creepy lands a nice shot to the body.
A swing and a miss from Donowitz. Creepy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Donowitz misses with an uppercut. Creepy saw that one coming. Creepy misses the shot to the body. Creepy attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
That's one minute gone in the round. Creepy thows a left - swing and a miss! Donowitz displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Creepy throws out the jab. Creepy dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Donowitz. That did some damage! Creepy swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Donowitz walks into a jab. Creepy feints and then cracks Donowitz's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Donowitz down. Donowitz slips a jab from Creepy. Creepy has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Creepy on the wrong end of a nice jab. Creepy lands a jab to the nose. Donowitz ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Creepy moves away. Creepy tries to clinch up. Creepy fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Donowitz. Donowitz swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Creepy waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Donowitz. Donowitz lands with a thumping leg kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Donowitz looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Creepy moves into the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Donowitz changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Creepy fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Donowitz lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Donowitz throws a hook but Creepy blocks it. Creepy misses with a kick to the body.
Donowitz misses with a low kick.
Creepy scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Donowitz connects with an inside leg kick. Donowitz takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Donowitz, right into the meat.
Donowitz bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Donowitz takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Creepy throws a body shot but no joy. Donowitz throws a hook but Creepy blocks it. Uncle Creepy is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Donowitz shoots in for a takedown but Creepy shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Donowitz goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Donowitz ducks right into an uppercut from Creepy. Creepy is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Donowitz is rocked! Creepy throws an overhand right that drops Donowitz like a sack of potatoes! Creepy dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Uncle Creepy! During a confident post fight interview, Uncle Creepy thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
