Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Spank Crank (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dean Wesson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wesson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by In Your Honor - Foo Fighters. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Spank Crank! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dean Wesson! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crank slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Wesson rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Crank counters with a shoot takedown. Wesson fights it but they end up in guard. Wesson wants to sweep here but Crank controlling him for the moment. Crank lands a couple of digs. Crank won't allow Wesson to sweep him here. Crank wants to control from the top but Wesson keeps moving. Wesson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Crank got a little sloppy there for a moment and Wesson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Crank has managed to get both his arms back between Wesson's legs - danger averted. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Crank stands up over Wesson, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Crank working some strikes from top position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Crank trying to control but Wesson is working from the bottom. Wesson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Crank's guard.
Wesson looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wesson wants to control from the top but Crank keeps moving. Crank tries to land a sweep but no joy. Crank keeping moving, preventing Wesson from controlling successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Crank is adopting a defensive guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Wesson slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Crank is trying to keep Wesson in close.
Crank striking off his back. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Crank trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Crank slips a jab from Wesson. Dean Wesson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Wesson rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Wesson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wesson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Crank seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Crank avoids the head kick by Wesson.
Wesson misses with a leg kick and Crank decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Wesson's guard. Crank stands up over Wesson, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Crank with a flurry of punches that miss. Crank throws a big elbow that misses. Wesson working for a triangle but Crank defends it easily.
Crank landing some decent shots from guard. Wesson trying to keep a closed guard but Crank is proving a slippery customer.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Crank landing with the ground and pound. Wesson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Crank trying to control the position from guard on top but Wesson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Crank pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Wesson is keeping the position for now. Wesson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Crank defends it easily. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Crank lands a couple of elbows. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Spank Crank dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Crank thuds a left hand into Wesson's body. Crank stuns Wesson with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Wesson drops his hands momentarily and Crank takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Wesson misses with a kick to the body and Crank counters with a single leg into guard. Wesson didn't expect that. Crank content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Wesson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Crank doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Crank manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Crank landing with the ground and pound. Crank cracks Wesson with a solid left hand. Crank trying to control but Wesson is working from the bottom. Crank content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crank working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Wesson's head. Wesson has momentary wrist control but Crank slips an elbow through the middle. Wesson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Crank doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Crank manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Crank controls from within his opponent's guard. Wesson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Crank defends it easily. Crank chips away with some ground and pound. Crank postures up and lands a big shot to Wesson's brow. Crank is really dominating this fight. Wesson is rocked! Wesson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Crank can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Wesson is still in real trouble! Can Crank finish him? Crank is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Spank Crank overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Crank scoring with punches to the head and body. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Wesson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Crank defends it easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wesson has his foot on Crank's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Crank works his way back into a safe position though. Crank has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Crank trying to control but Wesson is working from the bottom. Wesson seems to have recovered his senses. Crank works over Wesson with some ground and pound from guard. Crank scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Wesson has his foot on Crank's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Crank works his way back into a safe position though. Crank stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wesson swivels though and keeps the full guard. Crank chips away with some ground and pound. Crank lands a couple of elbows. Crank landing with the ground and pound. Crank arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Wesson's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

Dean Wesson spoke after the fight, saying 'The better fighter won tonight. Congrats to my opponent. Got to get back to the gym and work my way to avenge this loss.'.
